Director – Jessica Sanders

Jessica Sanders is an Academy Award-nominated filmmaker and award-winning commercial director. Steve Jobs hand picked Jessica to direct Apple's iPad launch spot. Her Sony “Make Believe” film won the prestigious Young Director Award at the Cannes Film Festival.

Jessica’s latest narrative feature film “Picking Cotton” won the Sloan Foundation Award at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival. Jessica directed, produced and wrote AFTER INNOCENCE, a feature documentary film about innocent men wrongfully convicted of crimes, cleared by DNA evidence and their struggle to reenter society after spending decades in prison. The film premiered at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Special Jury Prize.

Jessica recently directed BUNION, a short romantic comedy with Alia Shawkat, Michaela Watkins and Avi Rothman. Film Critic Elvis Mitchell curated it for LACMA’s Young Director Series. Jessica’s latest feature documentary MARCH OF THE LIVING, is about the last generation of Holocaust survivors returning to the sites of the Holocaust in Poland with teenagers from around the world.

Writer / Actor – Avi Rothman

Avi Rothman currently works as a writer and actor in Los Angeles where he has appeared in almost a hundred national commercials.  Avi has created and starred in a number of well known viral Internet videos like the ‘Ogden, The Inappropriate Yoga Guy’ series and the ‘Modern Day Jesus’ series to name a few.  His videos have over ten million total views.  Avi also wrote and starred in the short film “Boundaries” that went to the 2008 Santa Barbara Film Festival. He co-wrote, starred in and developed the comedy series “Partners” for the Starz Channel.  Avi and his writing partner, Seth Menachem are currently working on a new pilot.  Avi recently starred in an independent feature film called, Blue Lips that is soon to be released


Producer – Lisa Rudin

Lisa Rudin is originally from Minnesota and has lived in Los Angeles for seven years. She began working in news and political media but quickly added a healthy dose of comedy when she started working for Bill Maher at REAL TIME. She was a producer on RELIGULOUS where she met director Larry Charles and began working on movies and shows with him (CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, BRUNO, THE DICTATOR and more). She also produced the award winning indie feature MISSED CONNECTIONS.

Editor - Gina Hirsch

Gina Hirsch is an editor based in Los Angeles. Her past credits include the narrative feature Adult World, directed by Scott Coffey (IFC), and additional editing on the documentary Anita, directed by Freida Lee Mock (Samuel Goldwyn Films). Most recently, Gina was an additional editor on Warcraft, directed by Duncan Jones (Universal Pictures/ Legendary Pictures). Gina met Jessica Sanders in junior high and has worked with her on several projects. She is very grateful to have been part of the Bunion experience. She is a graduate of Brown University.

Composer - Matt O’Malley

Matthew O'Malley is a staff composer at Human Music and Sound Design in Santa Monica.  He has worked on numerous advertisements, short films and documentaries.  In addition to composing for picture, Matthew is a band member of Penny Engine and Lavashark.  Originally from the greater Boston area, Matthew currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Heather, and dog, Pepper.

Re-Recording Mixer - Ben Freer 

Originally from Manchester, England, Ben grew up in San Diego, CA. After getting his BA in Film, TV & Radio Production from Cal State Monterey in 2004, he returned to England to earn his engineering certificate in 2006 from The School of Sound Recording. After joining Eleven in 2007 as an assistant mixer, Ben has built his reputation as an excellent mixer in his own right. He has worked on major campaigns and mixed spots for many clients including Dodge, Chrysler and Jordan Brand. Ben has also lent his talents on various documentaries such as, “The Real Rocky” for ESPN’s 30 For 30 Series. An avid lover of vinyl, he still rocks the 1’s and 2’s when DJ’ing parties.
